About Seren
My teaching approach focuses on helping each student find their unique sound while building strong technical and musical foundations. I guide students through essential skills such as finger independence, fretboard awareness, and rhythm control, ensuring they play with confidence and precision. Attention to body posture and hand positioning is a key part of my lessons, helping students play comfortably and avoid tension. I also emphasize mental preparation, encouraging focus, creativity, and a positive mindset during practice and performance. For students preparing for auditions, recitals, or live shows, I provide detailed coaching on stage readiness, including managing nerves, connecting with the audience, and performing with expression. My lessons are not just about learning songs, but about understanding music deeply and developing personal artistry. I work closely with students who love exploring expressive fingerstyle playing or those who prefer pushing creative boundaries through improvisation and songwriting. Each lesson is adapted to individual goals—whether mastering technique, learning new styles, or composing original pieces. My goal is to make guitar learning both structured and inspiring, balancing discipline with discovery. With over 4 years of experience teaching guitar both in-person and online, I offer a personalized and structured approach to help students reach their fullest musical potential. I hold a degree in Music with a specialization in guitar performance, blending academic insight with real-world artistry. My lessons are designed to develop expressive playing, technical fluency, and a deep understanding of musical language.
I believe that every student has a unique musical voice, and my role is to help uncover and refine it. Whether you’re learning your first chords or mastering complex improvisations, I tailor lessons to your goals and pace. I emphasize fretboard fluency, rhythmic precision, and creativity, ensuring that students gain confidence in both technique and musical expression.
I also focus on developing a relaxed posture, focused mindset, and performance confidence—key skills for players at any level. Over the years, I’ve helped students from Beginner to Advanced levels, as well as Professionals aiming to polish their craft.
