About Alice
"Performing in musical theater for 11 years shaped my musical ear. I teach piano to adults, teens, and absolute beginners with equal vigor. Having worked with 403 students, I know how to break down complex theory. My method focuses on hand independence and rhythm and timing.
We work on chord voicing and sight transposition to build your foundation. I emphasize jazz improvisation and scales and arpeggios to get you playing fluently. Every student learns to master pedaling technique and ear training in their own way. I am here to help you gain the skills needed for your musical goal."
