About Tobin
I am a saxophonist with experience in teaching technique, repertoire, improvisation, music reading, and music theory. Skilled at creating personalized lesson plans and practice routines to help foster development in my students. I have a degree in jazz performance from Ohio State and graduated with honors.

I strive to teach students in a way that is balanced between disciplined technical studies and engaging music exploration with a strong emphasis on music theory. After 15 years of playing studying the saxophone I have developed a multitude of methods to foster fast development in my students.
Students will develop a strong technical base as well as all the music theory and aural skills needed to truly shine on stage.
