About Amita
I am currently employed as the DP Global Politics teacher. I have worked with various universities and institutions for the better half of a decade. I taught Political Science and worked as the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Extended Essay Coordinator.
I am an IB trained Global Politics teacher . My passion for the subject drives my teaching. So far the average score of my students is 7 and they have fared very well in universities taking on the subject for higher education. I have always believed in the constructivist method of teaching. Global Politics is a highly interdisciplinary subject and a teacher has perhaps a greater opportunity to make room for inquiry-based teaching than in many other DP subjects, given that content is prescribed in a more open-ended manner. In the global politics course, contemporary examples, case studies, the HL Extension and real-life engagement with political issues with engagement activity bring the course to life .Students have thoroughly enjoyed the subject with me and been enthused to work harder as well.

I intend to teach Political Science/ Global Politics and Global Perspectives to students from senior school and undergraduate college . My classes are structured and designed according to the curriculum with power point presentations and research papers that are shared with students . The class aims in engaging the students to develop a true understanding of politics.
