About Nathalia

Learning a new language is more than memorizing words — it's about connecting, expressing yourself and finding your voice in a new world. I know this from experience. I started learning English at the age of 5, but it wasn’t until I immersed myself in the language and culture that I truly felt fluent. Living and studying in the United States and later working as a journalist for a local newspaper, gave me the real-life experience I now bring into my classes. My goal as a tutor is to create that same immersive, conversational environment — where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and growing with confidence. I focus on personalized lessons that feel relevant, supportive and engaging, whether we’re practicing casual conversation, writing or preparing for something specific like an interview or presentation. I believe that learning should be both meaningful and enjoyable and I’m here to guide you with patience, encouragement and real-world insight. About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a warm, collaborative and student-centered environment where learning feels natural and engaging.

My approach is rooted in conversation, real-world application and building confidence through practice. I believe language and writing skills grow best when they're used meaningfully, so I tailor each session to the student’s goals, interests and pace.

A typical lesson begins with a check-in to identify needs or questions, followed by an interactive activity — this could be a discussion, writing exercise, article analysis or role-play scenario. I adapt techniques such as guided storytelling, conversation prompts or editing practice depending on the focus (spoken English, writing improvement, interview prep, etc.).

Feedback is constructive, encouraging, and always aimed at helping the student think critically and express themselves with clarity and authenticity.

What sets me apart is my background in journalism and my genuine interest in people’s stories. I bring real-world experience and listening skills to every lesson, which helps students not only improve their language or writing, but also feel heard, supported, and motivated.

These lessons are ideal for teens, university students, professionals, or anyone looking to improve their English, writing, or communication skills in a relaxed yet focused way—especially those who value a more personalized and conversational learning experience.
