About Courtney
I am an English conversation tutor and journalist with a strong focus on clear communication, real-world fluency, and confident speaking. My background in journalism has trained me to listen carefully, simplify complex ideas, and help people express themselves in a way that feels natural and precise.
I specialize in helping students move beyond textbook English and into real, practical communication used in everyday life, media, interviews, and professional settings. My approach is patient, structured, and adaptable to each student’s level and goals.
I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a supportive and low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable speaking from the very first lesson. Mistakes are treated as a normal and valuable part of the learning process.
My goal is to help students build not only accuracy, but confidence—so they can use English naturally in any situation, whether academic, professional, or conversational.
