About Omar
Hi, I’m Omar! I’m a Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience specialising in designing and building distributed systems, backend architectures, and scalable cloud solutions. I also enjoy exploring AI-powered applications and showing students how to integrate modern AI techniques into real-world systems.
I’ve worked on large-scale production projects, from microservices handling millions of requests to cloud-native pipelines and AI-driven tools. I love sharing this experience with students in a way that’s practical, hands-on, and easy to understand.
My teaching style is friendly and interactive: I break down complex backend concepts, distributed system patterns, and AI workflows into approachable steps, with plenty of live coding and real-world examples.
I work with students of all levels, whether you’re a beginner wanting to understand backend development, a university student aiming to master distributed systems, or a junior engineer looking to level up. My goal is to help you build practical skills, gain confidence, and apply your knowledge in real projects.

My teaching approach is practical and hands-on: I use real-world examples, live coding sessions, and project-based exercises to ensure students don’t just learn theory—they build skills they can immediately apply. Lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on their goals, whether it’s mastering programming fundamentals, preparing for technical interviews, or advancing in AI and cloud engineering.
A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, including discussion, coding practice, problem-solving, and Q&A. I encourage active participation, portfolio development, and review of best practices in software engineering.
I work with students of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps in programming, to university students, self-taught developers, and junior engineers looking to reach senior roles. My lessons are ideal for anyone who wants structured guidance, career-oriented skills, and mentorship from someone with extensive industry experience.
