About James
I graduated from University of Nottingham in 2019 and have since been working at Royal Derby Hospital. I began tutoring younger students at school and continued to do so at medical school.
At GCSE level I achieved A*s in Maths, English language, physics, chemistry, biology, music, geography, history and As in French and English literature.
I undertook an A level alternative called the International baccalaureate; with A* equivalents in my higher level subjects , Geography, biology and chemistry, and As in French, maths and English.
In terms of my career in the future I'm hoping to go into pediatrics.

Depending on the subject I find it best for the student to try and learn the subject as if they had to teach it to somebody else. This requires understanding of the subject to the point where they would be able to answer questions logically using the information they have learnt no matter the question.
This method is more effective in scientific subjects but works well in narrative subjects too. For maths it would be best to approach questions from banks and build up in terms of difficulty, adding new technique as appropriate.
