About Karlena
I am a 17-year old female who attends high school. I am a upcoming junior. (2024-2025) I participate in extracurricular activities such as High School Soccer, club soccer, and Medical Sciences Club. I am a reserved, passionate, and kind person. I love sharing my knowledge about my interests with my friends and family, as well as helping out my peers with chemistry. To start, let me explain my core science classes i've taken my freshman and sophomore year of high school. In 9th grade I took general honours biology ending up with a 85% for my total end of year average grade. In 10th grade I took general chemistry-1 ending up with a average grade of 94% at the end of the year. My upcoming junior year I am taking chemistry 2 which is a continuous of chemistry 1. It expands on topics covered in chem 1 as well as delving deeper into chemistry topics such as Chemical equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Acids and Bases, and more... I am very interested in neuroscience and plan on pursuing neuroscience in college. I have a strong, fundamental knowledge in the sciences and would love to help you out with chemistry and share my knowledge with others!
