Jenna Bennett is an excellent tutor, songwriter and musician who blends her teaching with a very down to earth approach. Her lessons are light and informal while also ensuring you constantly learn and build in confidence.

Our lessons started as online vocal lessons before restarting face-to-face lessons where we explored songwriting and theory. I was able to dictate the direction of our lessons based on what I felt I needed to focus on which I found very helpful.

I am now a fully professional gigging musician. I can say with absolute certainty that my lessons with Jenna have helped me get to this point.

I have been a student of Jenna now for about 5 years, Jenna is very easy to work with, she always makes you feel very comfortable in her lessons. She is very good at coaxing out of you music you didn’t know you had in you. Jenna is excellent at teaching theory, song arrangement and vocal technique. However what I always love about Jenna is her mentor skills, She is brilliant at planting seeds in your mind regarding how to advance your musical path, but at the same time never making feeling bad if you’er not ready for that step yet. Then she is right there ready if or when you are.
In short she is the best coach you could ever want.

Jenna ran a choir workshop for staff at a our 6th form college as part of a well-being day.
The session was pitched perfectly: fun, inclusive, inspirational and uplifting. I would totally recommend her for 121 or group teaching and was gutted that moving to Plymstock meant she wasn’t available for us again this year!
