I have recently taken a break from professional cooking to concentrate on writing a novel. I have a masters degree in history specializing in urban history / 20th century Europe / art history. I have lived in London, Paris and Bogota.

I try to make classes as engaging as possible by considering all form of sources including cinema, art, literature and music. I believe that history needs to be brought to life in order to convey its meaning and thus it’s use. I try to encourage this whilst teaching and therefore prefer to keep an open ended approach to topics or subjects to further encourage debate and thinking.
