About Samuel
My passion for music began during some of the most challenging moments of my life. Growing up in a divided household, I faced many difficulties, but music became my sanctuary—a source of comfort and hope during hard times. I studied classical music in grade school before discovering my true love for guitar, and I’ve been passionately playing for over 15 years. I enjoy a wide variety of styles such as blues, reggae, folk, pop, and funk, and I love sharing that passion with my students. My teaching approach is personal and effective, combining fundamental techniques with engaging exercises that build confidence and skill. A typical lesson includes learning new concepts, practicing songs, and developing your musical vocabulary, all tailored to your individual goals and interests. I believe in making lessons enjoyable and accessible, using clear demonstrations, visual aids, and hands-on practice to ensure understanding and enjoyment. What truly sets me apart as a tutor is my genuine love for teaching and my commitment to helping students succeed. I find immense joy in seeing my students light up when they grasp a new idea or master a new song. For me, music is a powerful healer and motivator—something I turn to during both difficult and celebratory times to find strength and inspiration.
