About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate!
I'm a friendly and outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and having meaningful conversations. I really love helping others feel comfortable and confident, especially when learning something new. I understand learning a new language can feel intimidating and a bit scary at times, so I always try to make lessons feel supportive, encouraging, and fun instead of stressful. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy tropical vacations, taking walks with my dog, and spending time with my friends and family. I love learning about different cultures and connecting with people from all around the world.
I'm excited to meet new students and help make learning English a comfortable experience!

About the lesson

My lessons are encouraging and personalized to each student's level and personality. A typical lesson with me may include conversation practice, pronunciation help, vocabulary building and reading activities to help students improve naturally and confidently. I especially enjoy working with children and creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe making mistakes and asking questions while learning English. My goal is to assist students in growing their confidence while making lessons enjoyable and engaging.
