I believe students learn best when instruction is personalized, engaging, and supportive. I use differentiated instruction to meet each student where they are, building on their strengths while targeting areas for growth. As an Orton-Gillingham-trained teacher, I use structured, multisensory strategies to support reading development, while incorporating hands-on activities and technology when helpful.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or warm-up, followed by direct instruction and guided practice. Students then apply the skill through interactive activities or independent practice, with time at the end to review progress and identify next steps.
What sets me apart is my classroom experience, understanding of diverse learning needs, and ability to adapt lessons to each student. I work with K–12 students, with a particular focus on early elementary reading and math, as well as ESL support.
