About Adam
I am a Physics student with a passion for learning, I love my subject and talking about it, I feel as though this gives me strong ability to teach others.
I have tutored three different students privately for the past 12 months and I believe this has developed my communication skills to the point where I am confident in my teaching abilities and can present information to the student at an easily digestible level. I study Physics and so have written numerous lab reports, also, I have taken an essay-based module in Philosophy which has improved the level of my written English. I have strong English and Math skills as reflected in my GCSE and A-Level grades.

I would first obtain the syllabus specific to the student, I would then ask the student questions about what he/she understands from the syllabus. Depending on all of this, I would structure lessons according to the time frame we have.
Rather than have students memorise facts/equations I would much rather they understand the topics, this means that they retain the knowledge for much longer and are better equipped to answer questions. My teaching philosophy would be to start from basics and build up towards comprehensive understanding.
I enjoy teaching A-level students as I feel like I am able to help them the most due to the level and age at which they are.
