About Hazel
I am a Computer Programming tutor with over 8 years of experience, dedicated to making coding simple and enjoyable for young learners. I work especially with middle school students, helping them take their first steps into programming. My goal is to build confidence and curiosity from the start. Learning to code should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
I teach core concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, and basic logic. I use small projects and simple exercises to explain these ideas clearly. Students learn by doing, which makes concepts easier to understand. Coding starts to feel natural.
I include fun activities like building mini games and solving puzzles. These help students develop logical thinking and creativity. I also use simple stories to explain how programs work. Learning becomes engaging and interactive.
I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I help them build a strong foundation in programming.
