About Lola
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including school children, college students, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy centres on creating an encouraging, patient, and creative learning environment where students can develop technical proficiency, musical understanding, and confidence.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve recognition and personal growth. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, tailored to each student’s goals. I strive to inspire students to develop discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.

I use a teaching methodology grounded in compassion, communication, and encouragement. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to match their pace, goals, and learning style. In piano lessons, I focus on technical skills, musical interpretation, rhythm, and creative expression, combining structured exercises with pieces that are enjoyable and motivating.
Open communication is central—I encourage students to ask questions, provide feedback, and actively participate in their learning. Supportiveness is key—I guide students through challenges, celebrate progress, and help build confidence and self-belief.
I extend this methodology to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and ear training. My aim is to create a positive and inspiring learning environment where students develop skill, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.
