About Schano
I am a dedicated and passionate tutor, who wants to help students thrive in their exams. I am committed to provide a deeper understanding of the curriculum. I possess a solid academic background in English and Maths, achieving A in maths and A* in English. I believe I possess an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and can effectively guide students towards success.
I acquire good communication skills and can explain challenging topics which will resonate with the students. I am also very patient and will take my time to explain topics. The student is free to ask any queries they may have to consolidate their learning. Furthermore, I can provide a tailored approach to diminish the students weaknesses.

As a KS3 and GCSE english/maths tutor, my main goal is to provide students to develop the necessary skills to excel in these subjects and prepare them for their upcoming exams.
Your tutoring lessons are designed to provide clarified concepts and build students confidence in their abilities.
At the beginning of my tutoring process, I will assess the students current knowledge on the subject and identify areas of weakness and what the student is strong at. Based on this, we can set aspirational settings for the student, focussing particularly on areas of improvement.
Then during the lessons, the student is able to ask any questions they may have which will get answered. If they dont understand this, then I will try explaining it from a different angle such that they will try understanding it.
After introducing a concept, the student will be provided with ample opportunities to consolidate their learning. This may be through past paper questions or practice questions. By doing this, the student will gain confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Then I will review their work and identify potential errors which they have made.
GCSE questions require specific techniques and strategies to succeed. I believe I am able to teach them these skills and help with time management particularly.
