About Andreani
Hi, I’m Andreani, a dedicated KS3 & GCSE Maths tutor with a passion for making maths clear, simple, and less stressful for students.
I started tutoring back when I was at university, and I quickly fell in love with helping students overcome challenges in maths. That experience inspired me to go into teaching after I graduated, and I’ve been working as a teacher ever since.
Now, I’m transitioning into tutoring because I enjoy the one-to-one tailored support I can give to students, it allows me to adapt to each learner’s needs, build their confidence, and help them achieve their full potential.
Parents describe me as patient, encouraging, and results-focused. I believe every student can succeed in maths when they’re given the right support and strategies.

My Teaching Approach
Through my teacher training, I gained strong knowledge of the Mastery Approach — the most recent, evidence-based method of teaching mathematics. This approach focuses on helping students understand the “why” behind the maths, rather than just memorising steps. When students truly understand concepts, they remember them more easily and apply them with confidence.
How Lessons Work
- Free 15-Minute Consultation → We’ll get to know each other, discuss goals, and I’ll provide a short mini-test for the student to complete.
- Personalised Roadmap → Based on the test, I’ll design a tailored plan showing the exact steps to achieve their goals.
- Structured Lessons → Each session will include clear explanations, step-by-step guided practice, exam-style questions, and a recap to lock in understanding.
- Progress Tracking → At the end of every month, I provide a written progress report highlighting achievements and areas that still need support.

- I know the KS3 and GCSE curriculum inside out.
- I adapt my explanations until the student fully understands each concept.
- I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes — because that’s where the real learning happens.
