About Arija

I have been in the teaching field for 7 years, teaching online, offline and offering private lessons. I have taught in schools in several different locations in the world, such as Vietnam and Colombia. I have worked with people of all kinds of backgrounds and ages, from children to older adults. I am CELTA certified and a native speaker of multiple languages: Lithuanian and English. I also speak Spanish fluently. My FAVORITE language, though, is music. I am also a musician! My entire life has been about languages, earning a BA degree in Music and Spanish. I really truly am passionate about learning and teaching languages, which I believe makes me a very genuine and competent teacher. I hope to learn together soon, iki!

About the lesson

My style is about having fun and generally more speaking-based, as I believe that that's the best way to learn a new language. I like to include different tools to keep my students engaged: relevant texts, videos, podcasts, etc. When the learner is interested and engaged it is much easier to retain the information. However, I'm also open to anything specific the student wants to work on, because let's face it, improving grammar and expanding vocabulary is definitely necessary at beginner levels. I still believe even something like learning grammar can be fun, when done the right way!:) As a lover, teacher and speaker of multiple languages I feel that I have the tools and experience to access any kind of student of any kind of a background. I am accommodating, versatile and you will NOT be bored in my classroom!

Perfect! Arija is very passionate about teaching and very patient, she doesn't mind repeating words multiple times or going over a previous lesson again. Her personality makes lessons enjoyable and I look forward to learning with her. I tried a Mobile app on my phone as well as AI but having Arija teach me has been much more effective

I booked a ten lesson pack to begin learning Lithuanian with Arija. I honestly can't believe how much we've been able to cover and how much progress I've been able to make. I've gone from not being able to say hello to confidently being able to understand the basics! My girlfriends family are Lithuanian and are so grateful I'm making the effort to learn the language.
Arija is punctual, professional and keeps learning fun, I'm honestly addicted now. My lessons are the highlight of my week!
