About Luca
Hi there! I’m a 19-year-old tutor offering engaging, personalized lessons in English, Irish, and Guitar. I’ve attended an Irish-speaking (Gaelscoil) school my entire life, so I’m fluent in both English and Irish, with a deep understanding of how the languages work in real life — not just in textbooks. I received high grades in both English and Irish in my Leaving Cert, and I’m passionate about helping others gain confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding both languages. I understand how challenging school subjects can feel, and I bring a calm, patient, and encouraging approach to every lesson. As a guitarist with 7 years of playing experience, I also teach beginner to intermediate guitar. I focus on helping students learn songs they love, understand music basics, and build strong playing habits in a relaxed, enjoyable way. I teach chords, strumming, and rhythm, and we’ll apply it to songs you actually enjoy. Whether you're a complete beginner or already playing a bit, we’ll build a solid foundation and grow your confidence.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible — shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on your needs and attention span (especially for younger learners!).
