About Pablo

"Pablo’s unique methodology provides a great balance of free-flowing conversation and structure." This is a review from a Superprof student (check below) which I believe describes me very well: I am creative, practical and reliable.

Moreover, I have encountered or even lived in diverse environments (Kenya, France, London, Taiwan). This is one of the reasons why I am able to speak 5 languages fluently.

In possession of 2 BA (Linguistics and Translation), I believe it is of utmost importance to simplify the acquisition of a second language and connecting with students. Below the certificates I possess:

o Certified TEFL TESOL teacher.
o Bachelor’s Degree in English Linguistics and Literature o Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Intercultural Communication
o Chinese HSK 5 o French DALF B2

My over 5 years teaching experience is as follows:

o Freelance Teacher, Chinese translator and Chinese Medical interpreter (Currently)
o Chinese Teacher at Educasystem (2021-Currently) Preparation for HSK Chinese Exams. o English Connection (2020-2021): Responsible for the improvement and learning of 51 students (4 groups and tutoring) which 6 of them obtained the Cambridge Advanced English Certificate (CAE).
o Dragons Teaching (2020): Added cultural and musical aspects making students become engaged and excited about Spain.
o Chazon Children’s Center (Orphanage) (05.2016 - 10.2016) English teacher in the town of Molo, Kenya. o Private English Tutor – Self-employed (09.2011 - 3.2016): Key achievement: 100% pass rate of students who presented to KET, PET and FCE exams.

On a more personal note, I love football, Bollywood films, series, reading from different authors and cultures (I am very much into the Middle East and Asia) and especially learning from my students too! Thank you!

Excellent! Mr. pablo is a good tutor, who would well prepare the lesson in advance.

I had 2 lessons with Mr. Pablo, and have benefited from the lessons. I believe that it would be more effective if he could provide a small amount of a little bit higher level (than which taught during the lessons) homework for the learner to study by her/himself after the lesson.

I really appreciate the effort Mr. Pablo has made. And I trust that it will definitely stand me in good stead for my further learning and development.

Pablo's response
Thank you so much for your kind review! It has been a pleasure teaching you. You are a very hardworking student, and your dedication has helped you make excellent progress.
As I mentioned during our lessons, I suggested that you move up to the next level because I believe you are ready for a new challenge. At the same time, I also encouraged you to review and study everything we covered in class, as regular revision is essential for long-term improvement.
My advice is to keep following your teacher's guidance and recommendations, as they are designed to help you progress in the most effective way. I wish you all the best with your studies and hope you continue improving!

Pablo is brilliant at explaining things and creates very enjoyable lessons. I've started Mandarin lessons with him and the way that he packs lots of learning into one lesson without you realising it (because it is so fun) is incredible. Very organised lessons. Definitely would recommend.

I went to Pablo to improve my Spanish while in Spain. I wanted to become more comfortable in having conversations in Spanish. It was one of the best choices I've made in regards to language learning! His commitment and positive attitude during the lessons gave me confidence. He is very easy going and culturally aware of the world around him. Learning a different language has never been more entertaining. If you want to learn in a comfortable environment with a kind hearted spirit. Pick Pablo. You will not regret it!
