About Karuna
I have been studying Latin for seven years and I am majoring in Latin and Classical Civilizations at one of the top Classics departments in the world. I plan to teach Latin as a career, hopefully at the secondary level, and am minoring in education. I have extensive experience tutoring one-on-one, teaching grammar lessons, and leading spoken Latin lessons.
I have also won many Latin awards, including four gold medals in the National Latin Exam, and am the recipient of a scholarship for teaching Latin that is only given to five students nationwide.

I have extensive experience teaching using a more "traditional" grammar-translation style as well as utilizing spoken methods. I have experience teaching the Cambridge Latin Course, Ecce Romani, as well as Wheelock's, although I am always open to learning new textbooks as well.
