About Honor
I am a Classics undergraduate at Durham University and am a committed, hard-working tutor with valuable recent experience of public exams. I achieved A*A*A* in Latin, History, and Maths at A level, as well as eight 9s and two 8s at GCSE. I offer Latin tutoring up to GCSE level. Alongside my academic background, I hold a TEFL qualification and have practical teaching experience through volunteering at Hilmarton Primary School. Latin can often seem challenging, but it is also a uniquely rewarding and enjoyable subject. My goal is to build students’ confidence in their ability by adapting my teaching style to suit individual needs and learning preferences.

I offer 1 hour online sessions, tutoring Latin to GCSE level for whoever is interested. When developing language skills I will work with my students through a combination of exercises and translations progressing together at their own pace and in real time. For literature I will work through annotations of appropriate level literature with the student, as well as exploring exam essay writing techniques.
