About Klaudia
Hello! I’m a native Polish speaker who has lived in Scotland for the past 18 years. I’m currently 21 years old and studying Law at university in Edinburgh. My unique background gives me a strong understanding of both English and Polish, as well as the challenges and rewards of learning a second language or navigating academic systems in a new country. As a tutor, I take a friendly, professional, and structured approach to teaching. Whether we’re working on language skills, academic writing, or building confidence in a subject area, I tailor each lesson to suit your individual needs and learning style. I believe in creating a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace. My lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for secondary school students, university students, or adult learners. I’m especially passionate about helping non-native English speakers thrive in academic and professional settings—because I’ve walked that path myself. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: I take a personalised and student-centred approach to tutoring. I begin by assessing the student’s goals, current level, and preferred learning style. I then tailor lessons to build confidence, reinforce foundational knowledge, and develop problem-solving skills. My sessions often blend structured explanations, interactive tasks, and real-world application to keep students engaged and challenged. I encourage questions and use active recall, spaced repetition, and guided practice to deepen understanding and promote retention. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which I find strikes a good balance between depth and concentration. For younger learners or more intensive exam prep, I also offer 30-minute or 90-minute options depending on need.
