My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and easy to understand. The lesson plan starts with review of the previous lesson and a quick assessment of what the student already knows. I then introduce the new topic using simple explanations and examples.
General lesson structure:
1. Review - review previous lessons and check understanding.
2. Introduction - explain the new topic in simple terms.
3. Guided Practice - Work through examples together.
4. Independent Practice - Let the student apply what they learned.
5. Assessment and Feedback - Check progress and clarify misunderstandings.
6. Recap - Summarize the key points and assign practice when appropriate.
What sets me apart is my patience and willingness to adjust to each student's learning needs. I understand that students learn at different speeds and in different ways, so I avoid using a one-size-fits-all approach. I provide after-school tutoring for elementary and middle school students who need additional support in Mathematics, English Grammar, and Science.
