About Aidan
Hi! My name is Aidan and I'm a first year undergraduate Law student at the University of Southampton. I'm an enthusiastic and jolly individual who knows how to make our time together enjoyable and beneficial. Outside of studying for my degree, I enjoy board games, watching films and music, especially jazz music as I play the alto saxophone. My favourite film is La La Land (2016), combining my love for music and film and additionally I love Spirited Away (2001), of which I was lucky enough to see live at the West End in summer 2024 and is my favourite theatre performance to date.

Tutoring differs from your normal teaching and lessons at school. Everyone learns differently which is why tutoring with me will really help you develop and grow. I like to form strong relations with students which allows me to find and set personal and achievable targets with them and work towards meeting those targets. Whether its preparation or studying for the 11+ or GCSEs or just help and recap on skills in between, I will find what works with the student and employ that to help them reach their potential.
I passed my A-levels with flying colours, achieving an A*AA in Politics, Classical Civilisation and Business and an A in my EPQ. Additionally, I achieved all Grade 7 and higher in my GCSEs, with 9s in English Language, Maths, Physics and Biology.
Lessons can vary in length but ideal lessons will be between 45 to 90 minutes, with an additional 10 minute gap in between for a break and rest to allow the brain to embed what has been learnt.
