About Sonali
# About Me – SECONDARY (Classes VI–X)
Hi, I'm Sonali—an educator, curriculum designer, and passionate French teacher committed to helping you not just *pass* exams, but truly *understand* what you're learning.
My Credentials:
- M.Ed., Delhi Teachers University (Specialization: Competency-Based Assessment under NEP 2020)
- B.Ed., GGSIPU
- B.A. in French, *Distinction* (90%), Delhi University
- 10+ years teaching experience across K-12
- L&D Consultant at Pinnacle Growth Consulting (curriculum design)
- UNICEF Education Assistant (2019-2021)
What This Means for Your Learning:
I don't just teach subjects—I teach you how to think. Whether it's analyzing a historical text, understanding geopolitical conflicts in Social Science, or building actual conversational French, my approach is:
Competency-Focused. Aligned with NEP 2020 frameworks, I emphasize critical thinking, application, and real-world skills—not just memorization for board exams.
Communication-First (for French)- You'll learn to *speak* French confidently, understand native speakers, and think in the language—not just translate textbooks.
Exam-Ready + Beyond- Yes, I prep you thoroughly for CBSE/State board exams with structured strategies. But I also ensure you build deep understanding that serves you in higher studies.
Culturally Contextualized- In French, I bring Francophone literature, cinema, and culture. In Social Science, we connect concepts to current events, India's role globally, and critical analysis—not rote memorization.
Personalized-Different students have different needs. Some need help with fundamentals, others need to sharpen their analytical skills. I assess, adapt, and support accordingly.
Why Students Thrive With Me:
Clear exam strategies + deeper understanding
Confident French conversation skills
Better grades + genuine interest in subjects
Individual attention (home tuition advantage)
Flexible scheduling around your other commitments
My Teaching Philosophy:
Education isn't about spoon-feeding answers—it's about developing curious, critical minds. You're not just preparing for exams; you're preparing for life as informed, articulate, thoughtful citizens.
Let's work together to make you not just successful in exams, but genuinely engaged in learning.
