About Megan

I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated Afrikaans tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and improve their language skills. As someone who speaks both Afrikaans and English fluently, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language and aim to make lessons supportive, enjoyable, and easy to follow.
I work well with students of different ages and learning levels, and I always adapt my lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and goals. Whether you need help with schoolwork, conversational Afrikaans, exam preparation, or simply building confidence in the language, I am committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and make progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

I offer relaxed, supportive Afrikaans lessons that are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and encouraged, so I focus on creating a positive and interactive environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.
I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and help students transition naturally between the two languages when needed. My lessons can include conversational Afrikaans, grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, reading comprehension, school support, exam preparation, or beginner language learning.
