About Jane Minerva
Hello! I’m Minerva, a licensed teacher and garment technology professional with extensive hands-on experience in sewing, dressmaking, garment construction, pattern drafting, and fashion design.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, major in Garment Technology, and I am also a certified Dressmaking and Tailoring NC II holder. Over the years, I have gained practical experience designing and creating garments, working with clients, developing patterns, and teaching garment-related skills.
As a teacher, I believe that learning should be comfortable, practical, and enjoyable. I am patient with beginners and understand that every student learns differently. I will guide you step by step, answer your questions, and help you improve your skills with confidence.
Whether you are learning sewing for the first time, developing your fashion-design skills, or working toward creating your own garments, I would be happy to guide you on your learning journey. Let’s turn your ideas into something you can proudly create!

My lessons are practical, easy to follow, and designed around each student’s individual goals and skill level. I teach fashion design, sewing, dressmaking, pattern drafting, garment construction, and basic clothing alterations.
I provide step-by-step guidance, from taking accurate measurements and understanding patterns to constructing, fitting, and finishing garments. Whether you are completely new to sewing or looking to improve your existing skills, I will help you build your confidence through clear explanations, demonstrations, and practical activities.
You will learn at your own pace in a supportive and comfortable environment, with lessons focused on developing skills you can confidently apply to your own projects.
