About Violeta
I really enjoy teaching, my experiences are diverse in my different areas of competence (languages, music and dance) since 2005. I taught Spanish at public schools in France (Strasbourg) between 2008 and 2009. Since 2013, I have given private lessons of Spanish, allowing different students to express themselves in Spanish, communicate while travelling and deepen their knowledge on the Spanish-speaking cultures. I also work since 2009 as a contemporary dance teacher with children and adults, giving workshops in France, Switzerland and Venezuela. My mother tongue is Spanish and I am also a graduate in Foreign Languages (specialized in translation) from the Universidad de Los Andes, with a major in French and a minor in English. I have also studied a bit of Italian and Latin.

My approach on language learning is to work on content and exercises (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and culture) in the service of precise communicative goals. I appreciate both the playful and the rigor of the experience in my classes. I like to work with songs, idiomatic expressions, movies, cooking... and also learn about my students' interests in order to adapt my content and form of teaching to their particular character. Also depending on the communicational needs of each individual, classes may be more or less oriented towards conversation, reading or writing, grammar, discovering Spanish-American culture, etc.

Violeta est une tres bonne prof qui maitrise tout autant l’espagnol d’espagne que celui d’Amérique du sud. J’ai pu grâce a elle progresser de presque rien à un niveau proche du B.2 en un peu plus d’un an. Je recommande ces services!
Violeta m'a donné des cours d'espagnol il y a plusieurs années. L'espagnol étant sa langue maternelle, et ayant étudié les langues durant son cursus universitaire, elle fait une prof très compétente et pédagogue, à l'aise tant pour aider à prendre confiance à l'oral et à parler avec fluidité, que pour travailler la grammaire et l'écrit.
