About BRAKS
I’m BRAKS, and I’ve been obsessed with anime editing since my first AMV got 10 views and I thought I was famous. Now I edit full time for TikTok, YouTube, and clients who want their music to hit with visuals that match.
I started teaching because I remember how frustrating it was learning this stuff alone. YouTube tutorials skip steps, Discord servers gatekeep, and most “pro” advice is just vibes. I wasted months figuring out timing, masking, and why my transitions looked stiff.
So I teach the way I wish someone taught me: direct, practical, and focused on edits you actually want to make. No assignments you’ll never use. If you’re into JJK, Demon Slayer, or that one obscure 2006 anime with a killer OST, we use it.
I love seeing a student go from “how did you do that” to posting their own edit and getting comments like “clean” and “tutorial?” That’s why I do this. I want more people making edits that feel original instead of copies.
