About Joshua
Hi, I’m Joshua Imbenzi. I’m a native Swahili speaker and I also hold a degree. I grew up in a place where Swahili is spoken every day, so it’s a language I’ve always used naturally in real life. I enjoy helping people learn in a simple and comfortable way, especially those who feel a bit unsure at the beginning.
In my lessons, I focus on making things easy to understand and practical, so you can actually use what you learn in real conversations. I’m patient, and I always adjust my teaching to suit your pace and your goals. Whether you’re learning Swahili for travel, work, school, or just curiosity, I’ll guide you step by step until you feel confident.

Learning a new language should be enjoyable, practical, and stress-free. As a native Swahili speaker who was born and raised in a country where Swahili is spoken every day, I can help you learn the language the way it's naturally used. I have a degree and enjoy helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Swahili. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you're learning for travel, work, school, or personal interest. I teach at a pace that suits you, using real-life conversations, simple explanations, and interactive activities to make learning engaging. My lessons are suitable for both children and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced learners. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress.
