About Matthijs
All my life there was a piano in the house. Since I was 10 I play music in Big Bands, Orchestras and small quartets. I like nothing better than playing music with others and would like to learn others to play with.

Jazz is not only able to play the notes. It is the feeling of the notes that makes Jazz. To properly play a solo it is important to understand the harmonies, accompanying scales and rhythmic feel, but the most important thing is to articulate your voice and style. This is only possible by making fun music together.
