About Manoela

A language is much more than Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. It is a way to secure a promotion, communicate with friends, express yourself to your loved one, and immerse yourself in a different culture.

I want to understand what your goals are with the language and help you achieve them. As someone who is naturalized in both Portuguese and English, and a Bachelor in Applied Science, I understand the different applications of both languages for different purposes and hope to help you achieve the same level of understanding.

About the lesson

Learning Portuguese can be very hard, but as we all know practice makes perfect! Duolingo and other applications have proven that reviewing concepts repeatedly is a very effective way to increase your vocabulary, but it can also be quite boring.

In my lessons I hope to practice vocabulary repeatedly using different situations and activities to make your learning experience more fun and engaging.

As a tutor I hope to be flexible to your needs and shape our learning experience based on your long term goals with the language, being them: emotional expression; casual conversation; business/formal; or others.
