About Amélie
I have been a Credit Structurer at a major market maker for three years, specialising in Credit Derivative products. I have tutored 8 students through university with a high satisfaction rate, most for 10 or more lessons. I have graduated with a 2:1 from Warwick, in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics, Mathematical Economics and Econometrics Stream, and I have passed level II of the CFA program in May 2025. Both Level I and II were cleared at first attempt.
Part of my job involves teaching clients and my sales people about technical derivative products, and I have intervened in local schools to teach finance as a volunteer.

I have tutored eight students, most for over ten lessons.
My first lesson is free if you are not satisfied.
In person lessons preferred, in a central London library or near a tube station.
I can teach in English or French.
I spend most of the lesson going through exercises, either from a book or that I create myself. I start with more accessible questions and increase in difficulty with the student's confidence in a topic, and I ask some extra "challenge" questions to the most confident students. If a student is particularly struggling, I will ensure that they leave the lesson at least mastering the most accessible exercises on the topic.
I also give general advice for exam study and managing exam stress.
