Hi, I'm Sameer Ganduri. I'm an experienced computer science teacher with two years of development experience in Java, Python, and machine learning. I'm an accomplished coder, having won numerous college-level coding contests. In addition to teaching, I'm a skilled problem solver and adept at creating innovative solutions to challenging programming problems. As a teacher, I strive to always challenge my students and foster a learning environment that is both enjoyable and engaging. My teaching approach revolves around creating an atmosphere of inquiry and exploration, encouraging students to think critically and explore different perspectives.
I structure my classes by introducing topics and then giving students the opportunity to practice and discuss the material. My classes are typically divided into discussion, lecture, and activities. During discussion, I focus on getting students to explore and explain the material in their own words. During lectures, I summarize the material and explain concepts to ensure students have a solid foundation to work from. Afterwards, I assign activities and projects that allow students to apply their learning in a practical manner.
My classes are designed for all types of learners, from school children to college-level and adult learners. I employ various teaching methods to ensure that everyone can benefit from my classes, including visual aids, interactive activities, and in-depth lectures. I also strive to make the classroom environment a safe and comfortable space for everyone, providing a judgement-free learning environment.
Overall, my goal is to ensure that my students are engaged and learning, and that they gain a thorough understanding of the material. My classes are fun, interactive, and comprehensive, making sure that everyone can benefit from my teaching.
