About Jimel
As an English teacher and tutor, I specialize in helping both children and adults master the pronunciation and enunciation of English words and syllables. My goal is to build confidence in speaking by breaking down sounds and guiding my students through the rhythm and flow of natural English speech.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I take a very hands-on and interactive approach to teaching. I use a mix of phonetic training, repetition drills, mouth positioning exercises, and real-life speaking practice. For both children and adults, I introduce the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) where appropriate, so they can understand exactly how a sound should be made. I often record their speaking, then we listen and compare it to native examples. This self-awareness makes a big difference in improvement.
For children, I keep things playful and engaging — using songs, stories, flashcards, and tongue twisters to help them internalize the sounds in a fun and memorable way. For adults, I focus more on clarity, articulation, and situational speaking (like interviews, presentations, or daily conversations), while correcting habits that may come from their first language.
