About Kamya
I am Kamya Gupta. I am a driven and ardent individual. I have a wide range of interests and passions. Creatively, I excel at reading, writing and problem solving. I am also passionate about volunteering and community service which enables me to make a positive difference. Additionally, I am interested in health, hospitality, sports and yoga. During my high school I have won Special Mentions in various Model United Nations and was part of the student council where I was honored as the clan head. I have volunteered with NGOs like UPAY where I taught spoken English to underprivileged individuals and won the Change Maker's Award for the same. I have also volunteered at organizations like Red Cross and The Earth Saviour's Foundation which has deepened my understanding of mental health and emotional well-being. Additionally, I have interned at The Youth Council of India in the Psychology of Writing program. I have also interned as a radio jockey at AAFT, New Delhi and as a content writer at Marpu Foundation. Teaching allows me to empower others with skills that open doors—personally, academically, and professionally. Having taught spoken English to underprivileged individuals, I’ve seen how language can build confidence and change lives. I believe learning should be accessible, supportive, and motivating, and I want to make a difference by sharing what I know in a way that truly helps others grow.

My Teaching Approach & Methods- As an English teacher, I focus on building a strong foundation by starting from the very basics—grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure—before gradually introducing literature and more advanced concepts. My teaching is interactive and adaptive; I use real-life examples, stories, and activities to make lessons engaging and relatable. Class Structure- Each class typically begins with a quick review or warm-up, followed by the main lesson content—whether that’s grammar rules, reading comprehension, or speaking exercises. We end with a short recap and practice tasks to reinforce what we’ve covered. I also adjust the pace based on the student’s comfort and progress. What Makes My Classes Special- I prioritize clarity and patience in my teaching. My experience teaching spoken English to underprivileged individuals has made me more empathetic and resourceful. I encourage questions and make sure no student feels left behind. I also incorporate confidence-building activities to help students use English in everyday life. Who My Classes Are For- I offer English classes for: School students (primary to secondary level) College students looking to improve their academic English Adults who wish to learn spoken English for practical use or work. Whether you're just starting or want to polish your skills, my classes are designed to meet you where you are.
