About Ameera

Hi, I'm Ameera! I'm currently a UBC Sauder student and a former IB English A: Language & Literature HL student who achieved a final grade of 7/7 and earned the highest raw examination mark in my school, all without private tutoring.

I genuinely enjoy going through and understanding different types of media - whether it be novels, short articles on Substack, or even movies! (especially movies)

So I thought I'd use this interest to help other students succeed while continuing to nurture my own creativity :)

About the lesson

Having gone through the IB system myself, I understand how difficult it can be to know what examiners are actually looking for.

My approach focuses on helping students build a clear and repeatable framework for success rather than relying on memorization or generic essay templates.

In our lessons, you will receive:
• My proven Paper 1 & Paper 2 frameworks
• High-scoring sample answers with full breakdowns
• Techniques for stronger analysis and interpretation
• A curated bank of notes + study resources
• Exam strategy and time-management tips
• Detailed & personalized feedback on your essays (not just corrections)

My goal is not simply to help you improve one assignment or exam, but to help you develop the skills needed to consistently perform at the highest level throughout the English L&L course so that you can attempt the exam with confidence in yourself.

I have experience creating academic study resources for the IGCSE curriculum and am currently developing IB English resources. I hope to provide a structured program for you based on your specific needs.

Lessons are available both online and in person.
