About Mimi

My name is Moushomi Ahmed, and I am a friendly, patient, and supportive private tutor specialising in Standard English, with a focus on spelling, reading, writing, grammar, and overall literacy skills. My role isn’t just to explain topics — it’s to listen, notice, and respond in a way that builds understanding over time. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps, celebrate small wins, and always make room for questions, even the ones you’re hesitant to ask. What makes my tutoring personal is that I care about the person behind the work. I want you to feel heard, capable, and motivated — not judged.
