About Sarah
Before I got my CELTA qualification, I worked in a variety of different fields: I’ve been an entertainment journalist, a local government communications officer, and a digital and social media producer for lots of well-known film and TV properties. The thing all my previous jobs have in common: communication. I’ll bring all that experience to my classes.

I work with speakers of other languages to help improve their English. Whether they’re at a pre-intermediate level or an advanced level, my classes can help students speak and write more effectively, and also improve their reading and listening skills. My background is in entertainment journalism and social media content production, and I’ll bring all that to the lessons. We’ll study a wide range of authentic texts, from audio clips to videos, from newspaper articles to book extracts – I want you to look forward to your lessons, and come away from each one feeling like you’ve learnt something genuinely useful and applicable in your daily life.
