About Tiphaine

I'm a native French speaker from Toulouse, now living in London. I love languages, communication and sharing French culture with others. My experience as a French-speaking nanny showed me how much I enjoy helping people learn French naturally. I want to make learning French enjoyable, relaxed and confidence-building, with a good laugh so students feel comfortable using the language in real life.

About the lesson

Bonjour !

I help children, teenagers and adults practise French naturally, build confidence and enjoy speaking the language — whether you're a complete beginner or already learning French and simply want more practice.
My experience comes from working as a French-speaking nanny, where I helped children develop their French naturally through everyday conversations, games, activities and interactions rather than traditional classroom teaching.
This taught me how effective a natural, relaxed approach can be — especially when the goal is to become comfortable using French.
What I can help with:
Conversation & speaking practice
Build confidence and get comfortable expressing yourself in French.
Beginners
Start learning French in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Practice alongside your studies
Already learning French? We can practise what you're working on and focus on the areas you find difficult.
️ Travel French
Learn useful French for your next trip to France.
Listening & pronunciation
Improve your understanding of natural French and work on your pronunciation.
French for children & teenagers
Fun and informal practice through conversation, games, stories and activities.
French culture & everyday language
Discover expressions and ways of speaking that you won't always find in a textbook.
My teaching style
I believe you learn a language best when you actually use it.
My lessons are relaxed, encouraging and adapted to your level and goals. Don't worry about making mistakes — I'll help you become more confident while gently correcting and explaining along the way.
I'm also currently completing a TEFL course, which is helping me develop my teaching skills and create more structured and effective lessons.
Lessons
Online — my main option
In-person lessons also available in London
Available weekday mornings, until 12pm and weekend all day
I suggest a minimum of 40 minutes per session. 1hr would be ideal.
Whether you want to start learning French, improve your conversation, prepare for a trip to France, or simply get more comfortable speaking with a native French speaker, I'd love to help.
Send me a message and tell me a little about yourself, your current French level and what you'd like to achieve.
À bientôt !
