About Giselle
I’m a guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis. I provide tailored lessons that meet each student’s goals and skill level. My specialisations include fingerstyle, blues improvisation, soloing techniques, and chordal theory. I work with students from Beginner to Advanced, as well as those aiming for professional mastery. My teaching style is supportive, motivating, and designed to help every learner succeed. I have experience guiding students through multiple genres, including rock, funk, jazz, and folk. Lessons are interactive, focusing on technique, musicality, and personal expression. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and provide exercises that build both skill and confidence. I encourage creativity and experimentation while nurturing a strong foundation in theory and practice. Watching students grow and find their own musical voice is incredibly rewarding. For beginners, I focus on building confidence and basic skills, while advanced students work on complex pieces and personal expression. I provide step-by-step guidance, breaking down difficult sections into manageable parts. Students receive personalised feedback to help them improve steadily. I support learners in excelling, whether they are exploring classical pieces, experimenting with modern styles, or starting later in life. Each lesson encourages creativity and practical application. My goal is to make learning guitar rewarding and inspiring. With consistent practice, patience, and motivation, students gain both skill and confidence. Learning guitar can be both fun and deeply satisfying.
