About Penelope
With over 4 years of teaching experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals, I help students grow as ensemble performers and confident musicians. I specialize in preparing students for band auditions, live performance, and collaborative music-making. My lessons are encouraging, structured, and performance-driven. I focus on stage presence, tight rhythm, and creative musical communication. Students learn to balance their part and contribute meaningfully within a group. We work on timing, phrasing, dynamics, and improvisational skills. Audition preparation is practical, thorough, and confidence-building. Lessons are tailored to each student’s skill level and musical goals. I emphasize both technical skill and expressive performance. Students leave sessions ready to perform confidently on stage. We practice timing, rhythm, and collaborative musical communication. Each lesson includes exercises to prepare for auditions and live shows. I emphasize improvisation, expressive playing, and teamwork. Technical skill and stage confidence grow together. Lessons are tailored to the student’s individual goals and musical style. Students learn how to listen, respond, and contribute creatively in a group. I provide positive, focused feedback throughout each session. Learning is interactive, fun, and performance-oriented.
