About Vivian
I am a guitarist with 6 years of teaching experience and a BM in World Music (Guitar Traditions). My approach mixes academic insight with high-speed rock and metal technique. I enjoy teaching students who want to play fast and clean. My lessons are designed to help you grow steadily. I guide young beginners and adult learners with equal enthusiasm. Together we work on precision, finger strength, and speed-building strategies. I break down advanced shred skills into small steps. Some lessons are calm and focused. You also learn how amps, pedals, and cables affect your sound. I enjoy supporting learners who value calm, structured lessons. Some want to play soft acoustic songs, while others want to guide group music. I help them find their musical identity with steady practice. We explore tone shaping through EQ, volume, and pedal effects. Lessons are relaxed, and I move at your pace. I encourage curiosity and questions. You will learn to trust your ears and your technique. By the end, you’ll feel confident in playing and in caring for your gear.
