About Gaurav

I am Gaurav Mehra, a professional music educator with 9+ years of teaching experience.

Over the years, I have taught 1,300+ students worldwide, working with learners from different ages, backgrounds and levels of musical experience.

I specialise in Guitar, while also teaching Ukulele and Piano/Keyboard.

My guitar background includes Western Classical and Indian Classical music, along with Pop, Bollywood, rhythm guitar, lead guitar and fingerstyle.

I have completed Grade 5 Guitar from Trinity College London and Grade 6 Guitar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and I am currently pursuing Grade 8 Guitar from Trinity College London.

My goal is to help students develop genuine musical skills that they can continue using long after a particular song or course has been completed.

Learning guitar is not just about memorising chords and songs. My approach focuses on developing a complete musical understanding while making sure you enjoy the process of learning.

I offer structured online guitar lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, with personalised guidance based on your age, experience, interests and goals.

Whether you want to play for yourself, accompany songs, develop fingerstyle or lead guitar skills, understand music theory, prepare for examinations or become a more confident musician, the course can be adapted to your learning journey.
