Learn how to draw!! From comics to classical anatomy, abstract painting to art theory, I can show you how!

Ever since starting my lessons with David, I have gained so much more confidence in my work. David's lesson structure and approach to teaching have given me clear directions for improvement and a deeper level of understanding of art that I haven’t been able to achieve on my own. David caters each lesson to my skill level and is always patient and supportive throughout, ensuring what I want to improve is listened to and acted upon. Even outside of lessons, David finds the time to help me with any questions or advice I may need. Yet to leave a lesson without a smile on my face.

I highly recommend David as a drawing teacher. His teaching style is remarkably clear and supportive, making even complex techniques accessible to students at all levels. What sets David apart is his professional background in the field, which gives him unique insights that he shares generously throughout his lessons.
One of David's greatest strengths is his ability to understand what works for each student, adapting his approach to match different learning styles. Despite the online format, his lessons flow seamlessly thanks to his effective use of technology. He shares his screen and uses digital drawing tools that allow students to follow along with perfect clarity, eliminating the visibility issues often associated with virtual art instruction.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, David creates a supportive environment where creativity can flourish. His patience, technical expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching make learning from him both productive and enjoyable.

We feel so lucky to have found David! He is a fantastic teacher and has been an enormous help in preparing our son for a Year 7 art scholarship. David instantly built a relaxed and casual rapport with our son, designing each lesson around his interests, whilst making sure the time spent was focused and constructive. He was also very open and helpful when we had input or queries. We could not recommend him highly enough! Thanks again David for all your support!

I met David through a friend of mine.I was looking for someone to design the cover of my music album. From the beginning I saw David's passion and knowledge and after our first collaboration I asked David if he could teach me the basics of his art. His way of teaching is so fun that really soon I started designing my own ideas for my next albums. Actually David showed me the way to do it my self!
Thanks man! Looking forward for our next lesson!

I met David by chance in one of his trips in Greece!
It's been 2 years already that I have been taking drawing classes!
David is a charismatic, dedicated and inspirational teacher with a vast artistic talent!!
I am not charismatic at all, but he actually managed to bring out possibilities in me that I could never even imagine!
His approach is very attentive and encouraging, introducing various techniques and explaining them step by step. David will go to all lenghts to ensure you achieve the best, pushing you forward in a way that is really motivating, but never overwhelming!
Looking forward to my next class!!!!

David has been our daughter's drawing teacher for 10 months now. He came highly recommended and we were not disappointed.

David is brilliant. He has a very calming presence and is very good at engaging with children. We were pleasantly surprised at how David manages to contain our daughter's excited enthusiasm (as he politely put it...) and to keep her focused for 1 hour. The classes themselves are excellent: children learn to carefully observe, to recognise shapes and patterns, and to describe them. This enables children to draw in a way that otherwise would not be possible, and, has allowed David to successfully and effectively run Zoom classes during lockdown.

In short, I would warmly recommend David to any parent!

It's been a true delight having David as my tutor for the last few months. His passion and experience on drawing is valuable in helping me find my own style and explore new possibilities, while at the same time we're sticking to technique and covering all the basics of drawing. I always look forward our next class and I couldn't recommending him more for anyone who is interested in exploring this world.

I have been working with David for over 6 months with the goal of improving my illustration skills. It's fair to say that I have improved dramatically in this time and most of that is down to his excellent teaching and mentorship. He has been able to adapt his lessons to suit my goals and interests. He has devised tailored exercises to help me progress in the specific areas I need to. David is both affable and professional and has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the many facets of art training. I intend to continue to work with David as I grow as an artist.

Private tuition may be expensive but I consider it to be more than worth the cost no matter what you are trying to learn. There's only so much you can gain by watching online videos. To improve it is essential to get real feedback and help from someone with more experience who really cares about helping you. For drawing and painting lessons David is your man!

David has provided a perfectly tailored and intuitive experience! In understanding the initial level I was at with my drawing, he was able to direct my development based on my interest in science fiction and character design.

David is a dedicated art tutor, with a very creative approach. Calm, resourceful and fun as a person, he made every lesson interesting and challenging, which is a very important factor for me. He also is very happy to adjust his lesson plans according to my questions and difficulties, so I always feel that I get a completely tailor made lesson! I couldn't recommend more David as an art tutor!
