About Cassidy
I am a guitar tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. My passion is helping students develop strong ears for music. I focus on advanced ear training techniques for guitarists. Students learn to transcribe solos accurately by ear. We also work on identifying chord progressions through listening. Interval and harmonic recognition are key areas. Relative pitch is developed step by step. Perfect pitch awareness is supported naturally. Lessons are focused and flexible. I encourage curiosity and patience. Musical confidence grows with listening skills. My aim is to help students trust their ears and play musically.

I teach guitar with an emphasis on songwriting, lyrical composition, and musical arrangement. Students learn to create chord progressions that support emotion and storytelling. Melodies and lyrics are developed together. Acoustic arranging is explored to make songs cohesive. Creativity is encouraged in a structured environment. I guide students to finish musical ideas and build confidence. Harmony, phrasing, and rhythm are practiced carefully. Lessons help students understand how music and lyrics work together. Mistakes are seen as part of learning. Students develop independence in their songwriting. Support and guidance are consistent. Original songs are crafted from inspiration to completion. Progress is clear and achievable. Together, we bring musical stories to life.
