About Mikako
Hi! I’m a native Japanese speaker living in the US. I speak Japanese, English, and Chinese.
I worked for over 10 years as a Chinese interpreter and executive secretary. Because I’ve lived in 5 countries and learned multiple languages myself, I truly understand the challenges of language learners!
I also love Japanese culture—I play Taiko drums and am a certified Kimono stylist. I’m patient, friendly, and excited to help you speak naturally! 【About Me（わたしについて）】
こんにちは！アメリカにすんでいる日本人（にほんじん）です。日本語（にほんご）、英語（えいご）、中国語（ちゅうごくご）が話（はな）せます。
会社（かいしゃ）で10年以上、中国語の通訳（つうやく）や秘書（ひしょ）をしていました。5つの国（くに）にすんだことがあり、私も外国語を勉強したので、みなさんの気持ち（きもち）がよくわかります！
日本の文化（ぶんか）も大好きで、和太鼓（わだいこ）の演奏（えんそう）や、着物（きもの）の着付け（きつけ）の資格（しかく）を持（も）っています。やさしく、ていねいに教（おし）えます！

教科書（きょうかしょ）は なくても 大丈夫（だいじょうぶ）です。
時間（じかん）/ EST:
• 月（げつ）〜金（きん）：9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 夜（よる）：そうだん してください。
おねがい： しゅくだいや、勉強（べんきょう）したいところがある人は、レッスンのまえに 写真（しゃしん）を 送（おく）ってくださいね！
My Availability (EST):
• Daytime: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evening: Available upon request (Please feel free to ask!)

You don't need to buy any expensive textbooks! We can start with what you have or focus on casual conversations. I offer:
• Casual Conversation (Free Talk): Practice real-life Japanese through topics you love (anime, travel, food, etc.).
• Homework & Assignment Help: Bring your school textbooks (like Genki) or homework, and we can solve them together!
• Pronunciation & Natural Phrasing: Learn how native speakers actually talk.
